Jane Deuber, Chief Executive Officer
Sharp, grounded and deeply committed to helping people grow businesses that serve the individual's personal and spiritual evolution as well as the bottom line.
On her way to reaching the half-century mark (Jane loves sharing that she's now 50) she has travelled the entrepreneurial path numerous times. From her first enterprise at the age of 15, selling handmade earrings in high school Jane's career has resulted in taking three businesses beyond the million mark, selling two of them and now growing two simultaneously while serving her clients.
In the 80's she founded a business with her husband Mario that parlayed a $5,000 investment into a multi-million dollar jewelry company that was sold in 1999 and still thrives today. There was also a 6 month adventure during which she successfully launched a new product line for a graduate school friend's company that prompted news features in as far as Japan and broke a six year sales record on a home shopping channel on the day of the product's national launch.
Among her favourite ventures was a six year stint with two friends during which they transformed $6000 into an international association for women entrepreneurs in more than 20 countries. During that time she also was the lead author for two bestselling books that have been translated into 6 languages and was named one of the 50 most powerful people of the industry niche.
But what makes Jane tick today is the evolution of innovation and consciousness in business. Her mission is to use the transformative power of entrepreneurship to help return the planet back to its natural state of contribution, collaboration and abundance.
Her work through the Virtual Training Academy allows her to give voice to thought leaders who are meant to play an important role in the of the evolution of individuals everywhere by providing them with ideas, strategies and concepts that impact positive change for those who participate.
Robin Upton, Director of Business Development
Creative, a lover of people and always looking at what's possible, Robin brings her gifts and talents to the VTA team as Director of Business Development. With a positive attitude and welcoming personality, she brings a wealth of experience as an Entrepreneur & Strategic Business Coach and Consultant for the past 20 years.
As a former professional figure skating coach, Robin believes she was born to coach. She has mentored hundred's of business owners through the nuts and bolts of what it takes to become a successful entrepreneur. She uses her extensive business experience and natural creativity to navigate clients into incorporating 21st century technologies into business today. Robin "secretly " loves technology! When not on the phone talking to the wonderful VTA client's, you can find her taking walks on the beach, or planning her next exotic trip!
Mario Villacres, Chief Technical Officer
Mario hails originally from Ecuador, South America and brings his excitement for life to the VTA team. Married to Jane for more than 24 years, he has been a crucial part of each of Jane's entrepreneurial ventures. His passion and skills lie in the area of systems development and program design. As a Co-Founder of the Virtual Training Academy, Mario has a deep commitment to changing the way personal and business development programs are delivered virtually – worldwide.
In business, his passions are supporting clients through the course creation process, developing features that enhance the student's and trainer's experience and seeing people's life-changing work getting out to a broader audience. In life outside VTA, Mario loves being a dad to 13 year-old Alex and 32 year old Paola, husband to Jane and the grandfather of three beautiful kids Ayli, Brenner and Hezrie.
John Dulworth, Director Of Wellbeing
As Director of Wellbeing, it is John Dulworth's roll to hold the larger vision for how we work and play together. John sets the standard.
A Texas native now living in New York City, he brings an incredible varied set of skills and background to the his role.
John spent 20 years in the corporate arena, where he developed and managed sales teams and the individuals that made them up.
